Sliprings for defence applications often use different technologies. With robust mechanical design, they are built to withstand strong vibrations.
Sliprings for turrets of armoured vehicles for example, transmit high power but also signals (databus, radio, multiplex). Some also contain an NBC air channel and / or an encoder.
| Equipment | Reference | Description | Detail |
|---|---|---|---|
VR01 | This slipring is used for centrifugal machines for pilot training. It includes high frequency coaxial cells (>80 dB at 100 MHz). | Data sheet |
TL01 | For transmission of high power and low level signals on the turret of an armoured vehicle. Incorporates technology specifically designed for turret stealth. | Data sheet |
TL02 | Transmission of high power and low level signals (logic and analog) for the turret of an armoured vehicle. | Data sheet |
TL03 | For advanced technology tank turrets, this slip ring assembly which has an evolutive modular design allows the transmission of a large variety of electrical signals and includes an NBC air channel. | Data sheet |
SA01 | Fitted on the weapon system of an armoured vehicle, this slipring enables the transmission of high power, analog, high frequency and low level signals, as well as of data buses. | Data sheet |
